Zimmerman Vineyards Cabernet Franc

Unusually full nose for a Cabernet Franc, with notes of lemon, licorice, fried bacon and pepper. Transparent deep red easing to lipstick red at the edges. Medium viscosity; medium acidity. Dry medium-bodied red wine, but remarkably intense for this variety. Delightful balance of cherry, mushroom, black pepper. Wonderfully long finish of cherry, citrus, honey and mushroom.
