Domaine Barmes-Buecher Crémant d'Alsace

Cellared from release. Past its prime, but quite drinkable. Pale gold, perlite fades within seconds. On the nose you can smell some oxidation, which carries into the palate, along with bruised fruit, medium acid, burnt toast. Long finish.

Creamy, luscious yet dry, Apple and pear notes. Very nice.

Fine, but just fine. Not much to say about it other than clean and a short finish. It's like Japanese whiskey; there's nothing wrong with it, but nothing interesting either.

Nice sparkler with a good qpr.
