Portlandia Vintners Pinot Noir

I've drank more Oregon pinot noir than any other wine and from the very first whiff, it seemed off and disjointed. Despite receiving some positive press early on, this was not very good. Turns out there is some syrah from southern Oregon blended in here, which may explain the odd nose and palate. Certainly drinkable and fine as a thoughtless sipper, but there are countless high quality Oregon pinot noir available for $20 these days. More detailed on my blog …
