Domaine des Rémizières Hermitage

An absolute joy. Dark red fruits developing into blackberry favours over the course of drinking this magnum. Some nice soft garrigue and ver gentle tannins. It had held up perfectly. You can't beat a magnum when you're enjoying a wine like this so much (unless you've a double magnum....).

An interesting artefact and amazing historic value as I was 13 when this was bottled and in junior high school in Sweden /Playing Dungeons and Dragons. Sediments abound cloudy at best. Fairly good balance despite age thanks to the structure with a bit of a tainted "smokey" flavor. The cork held up (miraculously). This wine was probably best 2 decades ago
