Fruit hits your palate first. My partner noticed the pepper more than I did; we both enjoyed it with cavatappi and red sauce and my homemade meatballs. I think it will pair well with roasted meat.

This French blend—50% Chardonnay and 50% Sauvignon Blanc—with a greeny/gold color leans more toward the Sauvignon Blanc side, with tart mineralness. The Chardonnay lends a solid mouthfeel. We enjoyed it with Baked Salmon with Kentucky Bourbon barbeque sauce.
