Solid Chianti. A little lighter than some. Bright fruit. My suggestion would be fresh tomato sauce rather than rich meat sauce.

Equal parts soil, and candied red fruits on the nose. The color is a bit lifeless, and the palate too, comes across as hollow, and a bit meh. Seems traditional, but lacks soul, freshness.
