A completely resolved and delicious wine. It has settled down and has slightly lower acidity than the 2005. This is purple and brownish color and a nose that is like welches grape juice. Tremendous grape flavor with subdued acidity and still very attractive. Soft and medium bodied it is simply fun to drink.

Wonderful wine after about 60 minutes, was fully open at 90 minutes and started to fall off around 2 hours. The wine was absolutely amazing. Best vintage I have had in a while. P.S. used to help make these wines

So bummed. This one was corked. Had it stored perfectly, and wanted to give it some time. The first bottle disappeared so quickly a few years ago, and I couldn't wait to see how it would evolve. Wasn't pretty.

Amazing stuff. Peppery, spicy, silky smooth...flavor that last a minute after you drink it. This is about as good as Cab Franc gets.

This seems to have lost a lot of fruit since the last time I tasted - but still notes of blueberry and other black fruit. I tHink its time to finish these off.

Napa Valley Vintners Association (Fleming's Steak House) : nose: good depth with plush tones of red florals, bell peppers, red cherries, and berries. Has a chinon-esque style to it with a bit more ripe fruit taste: excellent medium feel with good tannins and plush tones of bell pepper, red florals, red cherries, and bits of mixed berries. Nice depth and has a nice silky quality to it overall: A really good cab franc. Well balanced with a good mix of …

Excellent structure and flavor profile. Blueberries, spice and a touch of herb with nice acidity. Good to go now but could also hold.

Beautiful nose with cedar, berries, and spice. Rich in mouth with silky tannins. Delicious now but has the structure to last.

A very ripe, dark fruit style that while drinking well right now, perhaps lacks the delicacy this grape shows.

Best cab franc since 1994 Wine Smith Res. Ruby. Nicely complex nose of red fruit. Smoothe, nice, lingering finish. P. Liked a lot.

Very concentrated purple color. The nose of this wine is very grapey, but showing the mintiness that makes Cab Franc so alluring. Full to medium bodied with very little tannins and transmitting energy and flavor to the whole mouth. While this is not the most complex wine on earth, it is is vibrant and primary that it ends up been very compelling.

Had at Merril Lindquist's home with Roy Piper. This Cab Franc is ven better than the 2005 I had earlier. It has settled down and has slightly lower acidity than the 2005. This has a dark purple color and a nose that is more mature than the 2005. It has lost a bit of its grapenines, but offers more black fruits. The mintiness is a little more subdued, but still very attractive. Full to medium bodied, this is just a …
