Dark core, maturing edge. Strawberries, plums and licorice on the nose - the unpleasant chemical aromas from previous bottles are gone. Warm, (over) ripe fruit on the palate, full bodied and compact, the high alcohol level (14,5 %) quite present. Drinking well now, though - and far better than bottle # 1 and 2

Dark red, watery rim. Mature on the nose, dark fruits and berries, spicy notes. Warm and full bodied, amarone-like, quite alcoholic. Full-bodied and a bit "plump", but better than previous bottle drunk last year

Very dark, almost opaque. Dark cherries and mature plums on the nose, as well as a slightly unpleasant aroma of nail polish remover and paint. Full bodied, lots of dark fruits, high acid and high tannin level. The chemical feeling is not pleasant, though - and I wonder how this will develop.
