(16,5/20) €15 vs €50 tasting. From the south-facing limestone slopes of the Appenheimer Eselspfad vineyard. Aged for 16 months in French barrique. Very nice Spät and great value for money. Bit strict style. Medium+ intense aromas of rose petal, redcurrant, cranberry, red cherry, black pepper, coffee, forest floor, suede, black tea. Dry wine, high acidity, medium- and supple tannins, light body, pronounced flavour intensity, medium+ length finish. 13% ABV - €13,90 @ Winery
