Tasted blind from a decanter. Clear medium ruby, beginning to fade to garnet on the rim. The nose is clean, with medium plus intensity, and attractive aromas of ripe black fruit (black currant), eucalyputs, charred wood and vanillla. The nose is developing and exhibits minimal secondary characteristics. The palate is dry, with all components being medium plus in intensity. The flavors are consistent with the nose.
