Gorgeous wine that's full-bodied in this strong vintage but the great finesse of this bottling is apparent with time in the glass. Blue-fruited with a wonderful and lifted minty note on the complex finish. This is headed to a great place. 93+

I can't add much to Michael's excellent note on this wine. I am delighted that I was there to experience this alongside the '90 Riserva, which was simply superb. Two of the best examples of traditionally made Sangiovese you will ever find.
