The first bottle was oxidised, this was so fresh and clean. The nose had some fig and paw paw with a little toasty development. The palate was tight, lean and compact. It was fresh and invigorating with excellent cut.

Clean, minerally modern style. Grapefruit and lime characters. Good structure - perhaps lacking a little in complexity. No signs of tiredness; under screw cap no hurry to consume these.

A really good, balanced and flavoursome chardonnay with tastes of white peach, melon and grapefruit with nougat oak. Good length. Avoids the overly lean acidity I've found in some chardonnay's recently.
