First time with this varietal, the dominant theme is green apple and gooseberry, with zesty acidity and a nice vein of minerality. Did not pair with food but it was not a necessity to do so, nice bottle of wine.

Really nice Sauvignon Gris. It did not have the grassy notes of a typical Sauvignon Blanc, but it did have the fruit combined with minerality that I enjoyed. Good acidity too.

Pale yellow. Aromatic, somewhat herbal nose with notes of ripe yellow fruits, yellow plums, litchi. Youthful, fresh, fruity and somewhat herbal taste with medium acidity and nice intensity. Notes of tropical fruits, yellow plums, yellow apple and herbs. Nice and interesting wine from the little known sauvignon gris, or fié gris as it is called in Muscadet.
