- Aromas of bell pepper. It's unbalanced and has flavours of bell pepper with a light body. Narrow texture with a short finish - Purchased from Somm select. As it stands currently aromatics Overly vegetal, mainly pyrazine nose masking red fruit and possibly baking spice . Body is light, thin-and somewhat anemic in concentration. Flavors are likewise anemic, bell peppery, and cherry fruit and tasting like a wine that's been watered back. Not what I was expecting given Ian's tasting …

K&L Loire Tasting (Spring 2015) (K&L Hollywood) : Very vegetal nose with tons of green pepper, which drowns out the fruit a bit. On the palate, a bit thin with some nice minerality. A fair amount of structure on the finish and I didn't perceive a lot of acidity. Not really my style of Cab Franc though.
