Lots of mocha up front. Needs time to breath. Fruit shines after 2 hrs or so. Very good, just lacking the structure & boldness of the signature Darioush CS. Great QPR if you can find it for under $40.

Decanted for 60 minutes prior to tasting. This continued to improve over time and with warming from cellar temp. Added weight over time. Spice and earth on nose. Dried dark fruit on palate. Paired well with prime boneless ribeye. Long finish. Me - 92, Wife - 93

This remains my favorite vintage of Caravan, and it just keeps getting better. Gorgeous nose of dark fruits, a lush mouthfeel with no hard edges, and a long satisfying finish. What a beauty. Day 2: As LCHammer noted, it improves on Day 2, picking up some additional depth on the palate and lovely iodine on the nose. There's no hurry if you're lucky enough to still have a few bottles.

POP with intense cocoa and plum. Nice tannins coat the palate leading to a long finish. Same or better the next day so should have some years left. One of the best QPRs around.

Outstanding. Smooth, balanced, subtle. Clearly mature at this point but remains lively and a very easy drink. Sad this is my last bottle. Drink up!

This was my 3rd (and last) bottle. Sooo much better than previous 2. Dark chocolate and blue/blackberry and tannins have evened out great. Up against 09 Groth, 11 Rutherford, and by far the best. Should have opened an 07 Darioush to compare. Based on this, the Darioush should be quite impressive!

Strong Napa cab for the price. The obvious oak/vanilla/tannin elements are there, but well balanced with plum/currant/blackberry. Rich and smooth, this could easily go for $15 more and be worth it.

Drinking really nicely. Decanted about an hour, then drank over 2 hours. Benefitted from decanting. Got better as night went on. Full bodied, long finish. Delicious.

A real crowd pleaser with friends over dinner. Definitely within its drinking window and will continue to mature and remain at its peak for a few more years. Lost its bouquet after 45 mins of being opened but overall very pleasant cab.
