Domaine de Brau Chardonnay Vin de Pays d'Oc Finement Boise

Brau, this is as good a "weeknight chard" as I could ask for. As the bottle says, it's "lightly oaked", and that's true; there's more than a hint of it, but it's very far away from "buttery". Nose of candied french musk melon. Nice blend of acidity and funk on the palate that makes this more complex than most at the price, showing a good bit of terroir. It's unmistakably southern French. Will buy more!
