A very good Aligote that showed white flowers, citrus, and yellow fruit. Medium weight. Very pleasurable. 89-90

Ripe yellow apple and Anjou pear, a little fresh cream and citrus blossom, a touch of brown spice. Beautiful weight and texture, this has a great combo of silk and stones, and mild acid cut to keep it lively. Beautiful nuanced finish features crunchy apple and citrus, delicate spice and chalky grip. Should be worth following a few years.

Friday Burgundy Cellar Visits - Paul Pernot and Amiot-Servelle (Cote d'Or) : Tasting at the domaine. Bottled July 2021. Lemon and green apple. Lots of energy but enough richness for Aligoté to provide balance. Good+ for its level and price.
