Tenuta Carretta Roero Arneis Cayega

Off the list at La Tore del Monastero in Neive (e15). Rich and full bodied, much more powerful than the handful of Australian versions I have tried. Good support from the acid and a pleasant nutty finish. Good depth and length.

light colour with small, delicate bubbles. nose: lemon, Stones, some flowers plus delicate anise notes. taste: deep; bit pinching the tongue with nice acidity but balanced with sweet pear notes plus some unripe peaches. long, rich finish.
