Deep ruby in the glass. Inviting nose of cassis, plum, and raspberrry, fairly intense. Bountiful flavors to match the nose, with some spice added in. Firm tannins. Quite tasty. Perfectly balanced, with the weight of the wine balancing off the tannin and moderate acidity. Long finish. Very nice wine indeed.
