The Jug's Aussie Tasting (Goose) : Wow, I haven't tried this in about a year and a half. But we still have some left. Holding up fairly well. It's not bursting with fruit, but there's a nice spiciness and enjoyable red fruits. A good table wine, and can't complain at the under $10 price tag. 85-86

A very solid Aussie value red, dependable year after year. Improved in the decanter, which was nice, and took on a firmer structure with darker fruits than initially present. Lots of cherry and raspberry on the nose, soft and easy tannins, with a short finish. Good stuff.

Had this in a blind tasting - The nose has an interesting medicinal smell, kind of like cherry cough syrup. Also got distinct smells of grape Koolaide. On the palate the wine tasted very much like grape juice and had a bit of a weird finish.

Ruby colored. Fruity nose. A GSM for mass consumption at friendly, jovial tables. 71% Grenache. 100% easy drinking Aussie profile. A crowd pleaser and affordable enough for parties. Not too dry and just as the end of too fruity without slipping over. (D6.5,F6; Cent)

While this wine will not blow you away, it is, as others have noted, a very nice wine for the price. My wife, who is a big Mouvedre fan, really enjoyed it.

Fairly light ruby color. Exceptionally easy drinking wine. Light tannins balanced with some fruit and spice. Not much of a nose, but quite a few flavors on the palate, with a nice finish, although is it a bit hot at the end? Rasberries and red and purple fruit. A pretty amazing wine for the price, but if it was $20 it would just be OK.
