This is a bottle full of licorice and not necessarily in a great way. I didn’t find much to distinguish it and would describe it as disappointing.

A decent cab, with nice fruit still prominent. This was upon first open but seemed to have receded within a few minutes. Burgundy color and lighter on rim, almost bricking. Some alcohol in bouquet. Cork was stained light magenta and has what I believe are very small malic acid crystals. Only noticed that after cork dried out. First wave legs ran quite fast. This is decent but lacks any special attributes that distinguishes it from other good wines. Dark and brooding; black cherry, oak, spice and a subtle smokiness. The palate is full and rounded with a nice interplay of the fruits and other elements. Finish is moderately long. This has lots of good flavor but nothing that makes you go wow.
