Lagar da Condesa Albariño Rías Baixas O Fillo da Condesa

Very nice expression of Albariño. Lemon in the glass, nose of orchard fruit, palate is dry and crisp, round mouthfeel bit creamy, bright acidity, green apple, citrus, Meyer lemon, nectarine, note of salinity and rocky minerality, medium body, long finish. Yummy.

First bottle I didn't like as much but glad we got two. Second try was very nice. Nice zippy acidity but also a nice weight with apple and hints of citrus. Definitely a nice mineral backbone. Very good QPR. Went well with fish tacos.

Very nice albarino. Last time I had this it was very sweet. This time, not so much. Nice complexity, green apple, some chalk. With air there's a little minerality there. What as impressive is the weight in the palate. Nice heft for a white wine, but not too heavy. Lower in alcohol. A good buy especially at $12.
