Full golden orange. Spicey, orange and marmelade nose. Full, slightly medicinal edge to the attack. Full ripe, rich mid-palate of dried apricots, raisins, marmelade and mandarins. Sweet but not really a pudding wine, more a vin de meditation. Lovely. Long and rich. ***1/2

Full golden colour; marmelade and spice nose, slightly medicinal. The medicinal edge continues on the palate - not bad but reminiscent of cough-mixture. Not quite as sweet as one would have liked for the pudding (honey and pine nut tart). Probably more of a wine to drink on its own sat by an open fire.
