Medium to medium-dark ruby with pink rim. Redcurrant, raspberry, citrus peel, garden flowers, fresh spices, and minerality. Medium bodied, medium-high acidity, medium to medium-high tannin, medium structure, medium alcohol and long finish. Fresh, natural and restraint. Very well-made natural red Burgundy. Not as tart as some other natural wine. Very good with food.

2022 vintage

A solid value Burgundy, poured pop-and-pour from my cellar. It’s got a subtle, honest biodynamic nose—red berries edged by earth and spice—and the palate leans noticeably mineral, with just enough fruit but not quite seamless balance. Still, for this price point, it’s impressively enjoyable and delivers clear Sabre character; a well-made, unfussy Burgundy that’s approachable now and ideal for casual drinking.

Bright red fruit, clearly meaty and firm with some tannins that still need time to soften. Dense, meaty from middle forward. Better from 2025 forward.

PnP. Very good overall for it's level. But I like the Clos des Renardes and SLB of Fanny from the same vintage more.

Really like Fanny's recent vintages. Drink exceptionally with around 30mins in slow-ox and getting better till finish. Lovely quality for the price. Great balance.
