Quinta do Crasto, Superior Syrah, Duriense

Syrah temperado com 3% de Viognier e amadurecido durante 16 meses em barricas de carvalho francês. Alc. 14.5% vol. Na taça exibiu um rubi intenso e brilhante. Aromas de muitas especiarias, doces e picantes, depois ervas finas e um mix de frutas silvestres. Amplo e estruturado em boca, mas de gole fácil e macio, com todos os elementos em sintonia e um final longo, redondo e guloso. Beber ou guardar.

I had already decided on my rating before I saw the only other review. Enjoyed this wine with a steak dinner on our last of three night in Porto, at the Scala Palace restaurant. That was a few nights ago, so precise memories of aromas and flavors have faded. But I remember remarking at the time how good the wine was.
