PnP. Just past its peak, with good harmony and a very good sense of place and variety. It's not going to knock you out with high-toned gobs of fruit, but it will pair nicely with light>medium fare (a simple mushroom risotto and antipasti in this instant case. Drink now. recommended http://www.italianwine.blog

My first Italian gamay, and it’s lovely. While the nose is subtle and soft, with a gentle spiciness, the palate is equally subtle. There are the usual fruit notes you’d expect, hints of spice and rhubarb, and a bit of bitterness. While there are aspects of this that remind me of that classic gamay (Beaujolais!), it is indeed its own thing. I don’t normally favor wines where I can’t quite pick-out the aromas and flavors, and while that’s the case …

A really lovely wine. Translucent ruby in the glass. Nose of cherry/red berry with a nice hint of earth and spice. Palate shows bright red berry fruit at the fore with excellent acidity to balance at the back. Juicy and somewhat forward, but well-restrained by the structure with a nice medium body. The earlier comment that this is a bit like a German (or Austrian) Pinot is on the money. The older I get, the more I like these lighter-bodied …

Lovely, translucent garnet color, bright and clear. Aromas are a cross between a barrel sample, reduction, and soil notes. The palate, too, is a bit cross on night #1. More academic than enjoyable. BUT, night #2 (on countertop, no gas) was exciting, with the crisp red fruit front and center. An ever-present citrus note kept this fresh and interesting right through the final glass. Medium(-) body once it gets above cellar temp, this was a joy -- but only on …

Really liked. Was lighter and had with lunch. Drank with my mom at eataly.

Spice and mineral on the nose, Maybe a bit reductive, but a sweetly fruited mid-palate, smokey, like a cool climate Pinot from germany so maybe not reductive. And a certain bitterness which supposedly make it go really well with olive oil.
