Light color, body and mouthfeel. Cherries, star anise. Min tannins but nice acid, slightly sour finish. Very nice with chicken, salmon

Light to medium red. Fragrant raspberry nose. A light-bodied Nebbiolo with plenty of fruit, good acidity (for a California wine) and just a hint of tannins. Certainly does not present the depth of a Barolo or Barbaresco, more like a generic Piedmontese Nebbiolo. Would be interesting if Field Recordings had a reserve version of this that is aging in larger oak casks or older oak barrels. 75% Nebbiolo, 25% Barbera.
