Domaine La Millière Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc

Pnp. Light yellow hay in colour. Nose of yellow stonefruit with some honeydew, pears, and a touch of honey. The palate is getting flinty minerally honeysuckles and ripe lemons. Medium+ bodied with a medium finish. Paired with coho salmon and veggies. Last tasted March 2019.

Pnp through a vinturri. Has a very light hay in colour; nose of honeydew with stonefruits and a slight hint of honey and pears. On the palate, there are a good amount of yellow fruit with some minerals going along with some light melon-like profile; acidity is noticed so this can last for a while. Light color. Honeydew Melon and Asian pear dominate the shy bouquet. Honey, sel gris, and melon are brought together with a long vibrant finish.

Pale yellow. Medium bodied. Medium acidity. Finishes a bit short with some citrus. Palate & nose show melon. Very nice but I expected more.

Strong floral notes, honeydew melon, and clover honey. Medium body, finish is nice and dry versus the nose. Very interesting, wish I had more to see how it develops

Pnp; has a colour of clear very very light hay. The nose is composed of fresh white flowers and fresh honeydew melons along with a hint of pear and lychees; some minerality is also picked up. On the palate, there are minerals and citrusy yellow fruits of mostly lemon juice and a very light touch of honey are detected. Medium+ bodied with medium finish. Nicely made and am sure that this will evolve nicely in a few years.
