Riesling Freaks lazy afternoon lunch (Chez Hugo - Baltimore) : Similar to the SGN. Interesting nose of lychee, burnt sugar, sweet spices, honey and etc. I just am not sold on the palate and finish which has the unique Gewurztraminer bitterness. A few guys really love it.

Lola - Single-Varietal French Whites: Blind Dessert Wine 1 - Beautiful nose - is this Riesling? - Definitely has some botritys. Fairly high acidity with tons of honeyed tropical fruit flavors. More caramel and a bit of cardboard-bitterness in the finish. Nice. Thanks Howard. Sorry you don't like it. Amazing how the Gewurztraminer floralness has diminished. Perhaps accounting for some of what I was describing as botritys.
