Tar, tobacco, liquorice, dried rose petals, and a suggestion of cabbage. Dry tannin, almost like black tea tannin, relatively present alcohol, but not in an obtrusive way. Complex and interesting, but it lacks elegance in order to compete with the world's greatest wine. Reminiscent of Barolo. Drink now - 2032.

영락없는 네비올로의 향 딸기, 체리, 자두, 산딸기, 플로럴 산미도 괜찮고 바디감도 꽤 있었지만 팔렛이 살짝 비는 것이 나쁜 의미의 네렐로 마스칼레제 같기도..

You got to love the 2017 vintage of northern Greece. Extremely elegant on the nose with chocolate, berries and tomato. Drinks nicely the tannins softened after a while. I will gibe the next bottle a couple more years to see how it evolve in time.

Really good. Red cherry. Tar and earth. Dry, fun to drink with tomato sauce cheese manicotti. A couple days later…w/ friends and Pizza Friendly Pizza. Tar-y and chewy. Need to put this next to some Nebbiolo. Maybe more earthiness, but that should be splitting hairs.

Really like this wine. On the nose: notes of ripe plums, dark chocolate, and cinnamon. On the palate: the chocolate, coffee notes hit you with a nice roundness followed by ripe dark fruits and a beautiful silliness reminiscent of Pinot. The tannins are grippy but not intrusive and suggest the wine has 5 more years to go at least. Had with lasagna Bolognese and is a wonderful pairing!

Very expressive nose typical for the variety full of dried tomato. Medium body with balanced acidity and nice tannins. Unfortunately it didnt evolve for a period of 2 hours that it was opened. Probably the most ready to drink Diaporos of all vintages.

Pale ruby High intensity aromas of cherry, strawberry, tart cherry, cranberry, black cherry, black berry, violet, all spice, cedar, black tea, fresh leaves. Pronounced palate. Medium (+) body, medium (+) tannin, high acidity, long finish.

Pale ruby. Medium plus intensity on the nose with red cherry, black cherry, red currant, chocolate, caramel, black tea, tomato leaf, earth and dried cherry. Developing. Pronounced and dry on the palate. High acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, long finish. Can drink now but has potential for aging or further aging. Amazing wine. Reminds a bit of elements of pinot noir and sangiovese. Will have to try more Xinomavro!

We wanted the 2013 but that was not available so we got the 2017, a superior vintage but also very young. Bright fruit, a young Barolo in many respects with no tar feel, cherry, bright all along. Well elegant and as expected very well made wine just showing a very small glimpse of what can be achieved here . This need an easy 5yrs minimum of bottle age before it can be in tis proper drinking window. 90 for now …

N: understated, slightly mute, but clearly some quality here. Refined ripe cherry and plum with sweet spice. Classy, polished. Brighter fruits emerge in time - some sweet raspberry. P: this is still such a baby. Fruit is tied up with the substantial tannins. Some notes of dark chocolate, almond, black cherry. Long finish that deepens.
