Enjoyed this well aged 2007 Cab at a share the cellar event. Held up well with excellent balanced structure that was a crowd pleaser.

One dimensional. Not offensive, but better shortly after release. Drink up.

Black in the glass. Elegant nose with dark cherries and loads of pine. The wood still very (and too) present. Sweet palate. Still fruity, no apparent signs of ageing. But I don’t think it will improve from here

Very dark body. Enticing nose of dust, balsamic, raspberry jam, chocolate bar. Oak and fruit are fading but acid remains moderate and adds some cut and interest to the wine. The fruit that is still there has an oxidative quality that’s enjoyable also. Leather and graphite are really a nice 2 hours or so in. Nice food pairing wine.

Solid CA Cabernet. No rough edges; better than I had hoped.

pop-ed and let sit 30 minutes in glass. relatively dry, dark fruit, well resolved tannins, toast and spice on finish, lots of terroir - nice mouthfeel - excellent pairing with prime strip steak.

Decanted 3 hours before serving. Relatively solid Cabernet from a good vintage. Smells and tastes of dark cherries, plums, cassis, and oak. Medium bodied and has somewhat balanced. Plenty of fruit still means drinking window needs to be extended. Tannins still, but resolving and in no way a negative. Solid food wine.

Pronounced dark berry nose and flavours but not overdone. Pretty nice with a High-Low Boneless Ribeye (Charred and Scruffed), Wilted Greens (Girl and the Fig) and boiled potatoes finished on the grill.

amazing cabernet ready to drink seamless, with fruit up front and wonderful terroir.

This wine really needs a 3 hr. decant. It's a big wine with blackberry, blueberry and milk chocolate on the nose. Similar flavors when tasted. The tannins are primarily resolved but are still somewhat noticeable on the finish. But not in a bad way. They just add depth to the wine. I think it's at it's peak but due to its' structure will stay there for some time.

Similar to my notes on 9/22/19. Decanted two hours, which helped this wine develop much more nuance. No bell pepper this time, Initially somewhat monolithic, this opened with serious cassis, blackberry, graphite and oak. Tannins and oak well integrated, but still there lending to a great fit with a grilled ribeye. Seemingly at peak, but with enough structure to plateau for a few more years. 91+

Opened and allowed to breathe for two hours before drinking. Found it to be rather dense and heavy, lacking in nuance on the palate. Cassis, black plum and blackberry dominated, with some spice on the finish. Better on day 2, with added nuance. I'll drink up the other bottles of this in my cellar, as I think it unlikely that the wine will get any better.

Opened and decanted at restaurant for 30 minutes. When decanted several people at the table said "cherries." Even the waiter mentioned it when he came back. Nose and notes of sour cherry, cassis, graphite, with some oak still showing. Smooth, lots of fruit still, medium bodied and continued to improve with time in the glass. One of my friends even sent me a email today telling me it took her back to when she was a child, eating so many …

Decanted. Fine cabernet, has that Stonestreet characteristic. Seemed to have dried fruits (prune, dates, ...).

Initial opening- not much there in nose or pallet. Hoping this would open. After about half hour of air opened a little - fairly dry, some lingering tannins on finish but nothing close to hall Cabernet drank a few nights ago. Fruit is on the downswing. Should have drank a few years ago. Not bad. 86 points.

Appealing aromas of cassis and graphite, with some attractive oak. Nice complex structure of blackberries and currants with some herbs and a distinct green bell pepper flavor (my wife was much more sensitized to this than I). Dry, slightly minerally finish with mostly integrated tannins and medium length. Seems to be at peak - no need to wait too much longer.

Better than the bottle I had back in 2017. We pnp'd slowly over a few hours. Fruit on the nose. The palate was, berries, plums, a touch of fig, wood and hints of vanilla. Finish moderate to long.

Dark, round, smooth. Deep mature fruit flavors. Low acid, soft tannins. Very pleasant on its own. Moderate complexity. Well liked at a recent tasting. Very good for the roughly $40 price.

Nice solid '07 Cali cab with a nose of black cherry, earth, some dark fruits and a little chocolate. Pnp with friends at restaurant, this improved with time in the glass. This medium to full bodied wine tastes of blackberry, cassis and a little cocoa. Tannins still apparent, but not obtrusive, this seems like it has the stuffing to improve with more time in the cellar despite the estimated CT drinking window. Dry finish, this is definitely better with food.

Probably at optimal drinking window. Some menthol with fruit on the nose. Dark blue & black fruit, full-bodied, some acid on the back of the tongue and roof of the mouth. Long relatively ripe finish. Below average for CA cabs.

An enjoyable and well aged but still young Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon. Good balance, firm tannins, and enough fruit and herb on the nose to keep it interesting. Medium-bodied, with nice up-front fruit and nice mouthfeel but thins out a tinge on the finish.

I liked this. A bit softer, richer, less acidic than the WA cab opened with it, but ultimately less zing and complexity.

Oak is predominant on the nose and palette. But the dark plum and some vanilla comes through enough to make this a good food wine.

Decent. Not as good as the 2010 Legacy I had the same night, but that was nearly twice the price. Just not good QPR, which is why I dropped my club membership.

Clear garnet with slight rim browning. Cranberry, fig, black plum. Low acids, medium to high tannins. Chocolate, tobacco, vanilla. Long tannic finish. Lots of tartrates on the cork. Hold for two years

I only have one of these and this is too soon to drink this wine. Nose with vanilla, cherry and licorice. The palate is pretty tight with tannin dominating right now. This will definitely be a better wine in 5 years. If you do open one give it a nice long decant to let it soften up.

Nose: vegetal (grass, green olives), dark red fruits Palate: Med/High Tannins Other Notes: prefered it paired with a steak which melted away the tannins. Would think it has potential for at least another 5 years.

Tasting good right now. Love the mineral-ity that goes along with the ripe but not overripe fruit: blackberry, cherry and maybe even a bit of blueberry.

Mineral and graphite on the nose, as well as ink and slight licorice. Richly structured with flavors of creme de cassis, juicy blackberry, dark cherry and sweet tannin. Pauillac-like in style. Nice!
