CellarDoor TWE Tasting (Marriot on Pitt Street, Sydney) : Alcohol heat dominates the nose over muted fruit, lots of caramel oak, sweet spice. Juicy in the mouth with lots of oak. If you like oak water then this is for you.

TWE 2016 Expo : Oak, blackberry and mint. Lots of structure from the oak on the palate. Pretty hard to drink this currently, it needs plenty of time and the outcome on the other side isn't exactly clear to me.

2016 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting & Trophy Wines Lunch (Olympic Park, Homebush) : (no medal; 80p) {cork,14%, A$140} Sweet strawberry jam. Vanilla oak. Maybe some vague spice too, but lots of jam. The palate is very ripe with its sweet red fruit, and stick-out acidity.
