Tasted with family with Char Siu and grilled chicken. Color is Ruby. On the nose- I got lots of dark fruits- black currants, plum, and blackberry. Hint of pepper and oak or cedar. It’s floral but medium (-) intensity. On the palate, smooth tannins- almost non-existent. Short finish. Fruit forward. Good balance but not very complex. I would liked it to be more aromatic and longer finish

Second day this wine really shined. It needs to breathe a lot. Scores are too low from the postings. Deep purple color indicates wine will improve wirh several more years of bottle aging. Full bodied, up front fruit but not gammy. Minnimum subtle tannins, medium finish. One of the best values out there at $12. It will pair well with many food items, and a great siper w/o food.

Floral aromas with smoky black fruit flavour. Strawberry-raspberry jam, charred black cherry. Medium tannin, peppery finish. I’d consider this wine above average for the price.

Dark ruby; thin legs. Cherry and dark fruit on the nose. Smooth on the palate with cherry and pepper. Somewhat thin. Moderately long peppery finish.

You know when you bite into a chocolate easter bunny only to discover that it’s hollow? Same thing here. Nice dark color, initial flavor is fine but the mid-palate is completely hollow, and there’s a not-entirely-pleasant finish. It was fine to use in the slow cooker with short ribs, but when it came time to eat I opened something else.

Not bad for $12 a bottle. Have to serve slightly chilled though, say 57 to 63 degrees, and give it about 30 minutes to breathe. (I can only imagine that the lower scores that you see for this wine were either a pop and pour, or not properly chilled.) The Zin jumps out but the merlot keeps it in check. The Cab and the Petite Sirah hit you on the aftertaste. The wine will keep you guessing on the different …

Very dark. Rich but a fairly puckery finish. A slightly off flavor note. Still, pretty quaffable and better with food. flavor note subsides a little on day two.

As expected. Very young but I believe it is intended to be consumed that way. Fruity but not over the top, on the sweeter side. Not my palate preference however I can see how some might enjoy.
