Drank over three nights. Serious and pretty. Macchia Mediterranea on the nose and palate, nice concentration and fairly good delineation and harmony between and amongst the three varietals (Sangiovese 50%, Cabernet Franc 25% and Merlot 25% - Haiku). Polished but not too polished tannins…this is is a very good, more affordable alternative to Tignanello for sure.

Nice fruit — blackberry, sour cherry — and tannins. Neither heavy nor light. Def a keeper. Have a few more bottles I’ll keep for a few years to see what age does.

Just getting going. Primary all day right now. After 2 hours just showing some character. Acid and tannin in the fore front. Needs time. Delicious in a youthful sorta way. Lots of upside to come.

Similar to last tasting note with a lot potential. Starting to close down, I would not open another bottle for at least 5-10 years.

A good mix of the qualities of both grapes. Delicious now, was even better the day after so you can put it in the decanter once you opened it.

Very pure expression of the terror it already is quite enjoyable. Bouquet comes with sour cherries and some chalk. The tannins are very refined and everything is there for an exciting future. 2016 seems to be a milestone for Tuscany.
