Fading color and brick browning.. Nose is light floral and light cherry.. Nice light bright strawberry cherry flavors with a nice uplift from the acidity.. some spice on the mid palate… Quite a nice burg but don’t hold on for much longer

Great notes from previous reviewer that leaves me adding nothing except I thought the complexity of this and flavor rated a higher score..

I had the opportunity to taste several aged Burgundies at the Wine Merchant this Saturday. I’m a bit obsessed with the Gros family, so when I saw that they were showing A.-F. Gros, I decided to stop by, and adopt a couple. Most of my Burgundy collection comes from my honeymoon, and while I’ve had the opportunity to taste and buy some older vintages, my remaining cellar age largely starts in 2013, so I thought this would be a good …

Quite a lovely drink, mature, still plenty of fruit, last bottle which is probably about right

Still going fairly strong, nice cranberry and pomegranate fruits, some nice aromatics, a little spice, great for its level, nice finish, I’d drink these up in the next year or two but it’ll probably last longer

Still going well and doesn’t feel like it’s declining yet

This bottle was about perfect, ripe fruit, balancing acidity, some developement giving some complexity and just lovely to drink, hard to see an improvement from here, will probably keep at this level for a year or so

This has some decent fruit, ripe with nice acidity, very pleasant easy drinking, pretty good the 2nd day too, I wouldn't rush on this wine if you have a few In the cellar, it's got a few years left at least

A little closed at first. Open up and bloomed over a couple of hours. The nose has stone fruit and mushroom. Light/Medium body with some complexity and minerality. This wine has smooth and elegant texture with medium length. Very enjoyable drink.

Starting to crack, some dryness and oxidative notes creeping up. Drink up.

Popped and poured, but as it wasn't up to much tried a brief decant (1 hour). Still next to nothing on the nose. On the palate there's some red fruit, but not much, a half decent body, but there's a green bitterness in the mid-palate and finish that detracts. A f gros is based in pommard, not my fave wine, and this is a kind of poorly made pommard light. Neither interesting nor particularly enjoyable. The real problem is the …

Light and balanced, quite aromatic nose, a very quaffable and delicious day to day Pinot.
