A light color in the glass. Bright lemons and tart green apple on the nose. On the palette, an acidic sharpness with notes of flint with a harsh finish. Mouth puckering in not such a good way.

Smells of ripe lemon and orange zest, hay, warm stones, ammonia, a little smoke. Distant honey and wax with even some insect character. A whole beehive :) On the palate, it has high acidity and medium- body. Grapefruit, blossom, pear. 8/18

A fine but not distinguished glass of carricante. Others do it better

Really young and acidic with a green clip on the finish. For me there’s too much of a Banana Laffy Taffy thing going on here. I’m sure with time that fades into some depth but not a present. On the positive it has a really nice oily and mouth coating texture.

Not exceptionally expressive on the nose, but very clear. Yellow fruits, salinity, some herbal overtones. The palate has filled out a little and shows good fruit density and perfectly integrated acidic cut. Delicious and refreshing.

Glycerin, voluptuous body coating the mouth. Paired very well with crab cakes.

Golden in color. Initially quite muted nose. The palate is a pleasant surprise considering its appearance. Youthful, beautiful acidity, lemon and white nectarine.

Similar to other recent notes. This is a little reticent on the nose, but the palate has good density while also being brisk and grippy. Needs a little time to relax, but this is very good.

Consistent with previous notes. I think this wine will become an annual purchase for us.

Consistent with previous notes. The herbal element has probably settled in as thyme. Still vibrant and mouthwatering.

Bright, fresh, mineral Italian whites are a theme this Spring/Summer. Another lovely bottle.

Snappy lemon oil and maybe some melon with a snappy herbal and salty element. Snappy and delicious. Glad to have this around.

Racy, fresh and vibrant. Almost a garrigue type herbiness added to honeydew and lemon. Juicy and vibrant.

Medium/ deep gold in color Medium aromas of apples/ honey with slight petrol notes and some minimal oxidative notes Medium plus palate of quince and ripe citrus with beautiful minerality Medium plus acidity with some moderate phenolic bitterness Only aspect which brings my score down a bit is a rather short finish Otherwise this is pretty spectacular juice!

Light gold cold - crystal clear. Moderate aromas of golden apples/ honey and juicy ripe stone fruit. Maybe some chamomile and a little new oak? Medium(+) palate of stone fruit with a long finish and medium(+) acidity. Rather opulent and ripe with less minerality than expected for a Carricante. Not sure if this due to riper fruit than usual or additional varieties added?

pale gold w/glints of green; lemon zest, pears, green appleskin, dusty mineral; med - bodied; tangy apple & meyer lemon, crackling acidity really electrifies the palate, so food friendly. perhaps too young, but joyously delicious now; will age a few to explore development, but most will be drunk young. grilled nc white shrimp, marinated in fennel & orange; chicories w/oranges, capers & roasted pimientoes, pistachio & orange gremolata
