Cavey's, last night before the sale. $40, billed wrong? Some varietal browning. GREAT floral nose.Serious tannin not out of balnce with some goot neb. fruit. Give it at least a couple of hours of air or 5 years. Will get better.

Very nice Barbaresco. Great nose and rich, layered flavors.

Tighter than a banjo string. Gotta learn to wait.

Very nice but maybe a tad closed or not the perfect pairing with chicken pot pie? Enjoyable but less inspiring than prior btls. Still like it a lot for $23.

Another delcious blt with a great Nebbi nose of rose petal and spice. Wife says more complex than PN. Love this producer! Drink or hold.

Wouldn't have guessed this to be a Barbaresco if I were tasting this blind. Big difference from the Sori. Lots of fruit and terroir on the snout with this wine. Very drinkable right now. Still, I'd recommend decanting to get it to open up. I did and got some really nice fruit as a result. I'm not that good at picking out things like "black currants grown on a southern exposure and minerality from the Middle Paleolithic period".

Liked this blt a tad more still. Red fruited, feather weight, lacey, elegant, almost sweet and aromatic. Totally great stuff for $25! No oakiness usally found in young wines.

Sweet cherry on the nose that carries over to the palate. Tanins are little rough at the moment. Good potential and drinkable.

Not a bad wine by any means...just too distracted by the tannic youth. Could well live up to moderate 90's rating once tannins settle down. Possibly a darn good wine when (if) this happens. I'd wait until 2013 at earliest...
