Konrad, Pinot Noir, Marlborough

The was a lovely brick-colored wine with fast legs. It has the typical Pinot Noir nose of strawberry, earth/mushroom and sort of a mossy/forest floor note with a bit of light smoke in the background. Great balance and structure. Good tannins with very nice acidity. Big strawberry and mushroom palate...sounds strange but it works. The wine has a light to medium body, a round texture and surprisingly long finish.
