Have had this from a number of vintages and there is variation. I found this less interesting than some others, a bit too much edge where before there was a pleasing crunch to the fruit and acidity. But maybe an off bottle or just did not suit my palate at the time. Normally a qpr favorite.

Decanted and chilled for 2 hours. Translucent crimson, surprislingly bright. Once the temperature rose a bit, the nose was all raspberries and sour cherries. A while later more spicy, cedar-like notes, came as well. Considering the light colour, the taste is really big. You find the same red berry notes together with a medium-high acidity, making for a crunchy experience. Spices takes over together with a bit fiery alcohol warmt but not in any unpleasant way, it blends perfectly well. …

Previous review was on the money. Finish is a bit harsh. With more cellar time this might soften. I plan to buy a few more bottles - this is a very good QPR.

Light bodied, medium acidity and a grippy tannin structure. Red cherries, raspberries and some floral notes of roses. Also minerals and wild herbs.
