Trinchero Wine Cube Cabernet / Shiraz

Wow! The silkyness/smoothness/balance of this wine was in my opinion at its peak. With aromas of cassis, berries, cedarwood with a hint of vanilla and at taste cassis, berries, green Pepper, vanilla, even seemed a bit of caramel side. Sad that this was my last bottle. I would say enjoy sooner than later.

Beautiful nose. Intense right out of the bottle. Almost like a cough syrup but in a good way. Everyone really liked it but I can't help but think that this one has some outstanding years ahead. I scored it higher than this tasting deserved for the potential alone. I may get some more just to save!

Definitely could have waited a few years, but this wine opened with a lovely bouquet and just got better by the glass as it opened up. With deep and heavy layers of complexity and an excellent finish this wine exudes the characteristics of a classic Napa Cab. You won’t be disappointed.

Trinchero Single Vineyard Cabs; 3/20/2010-3/25/2010 (Chateau Glas) : Medium purple. Nose smoke, dust, blackberries, floral and oak. On the palate awesome concentration with blackberries, blueberries, smoke, dust leather and oak. Medium, mulit layered finish with some serious punch. This is a cellar selection wine.
