(Random midweek) [bottled 14/01/13; 10.2%; 21*plato] flat, nonexistent head, nose of rich dark berries, florals, and toasted dark rye bread. Palate is sweet, with dark chocolate bitters and more rye bread and marmite bitters. Incredible concentration and complexity. With an over-fermented soft Vermont (summer snow - Camembert sheep raw sheep) it is even sweeter with raisins and exotic wet earth. With the extra vintage centenary Warrnambool cheddar, it gets darker and deeper with rich black earth and toasty sweetness.
