Coravin Funky on the nose with stewed red fruit most prominent. Light in body with a nice balance of fruit, earth and acid. Lighter tannins. Green pepper on the finish with that funkiness again. Rubber? Interesting and very good QPR.

Not sure what was going on with my first bottle but the subsequent two have been quite tasty.

This has great drinkability for its price point. Not sure what others here are drinking when saying no fruit, it is there and it has quite a bit of character and spice to boot. Excellent QPR, a fine daily drinker and will more than likely be a crowd pleaser.

This is a very drinkable wine. I don’t recall having a Sicilian wine before this. I’m impressed. The structure and balance of this wine is excellent: not overly tannic, not overly dry; but sufficient enough that it pairs wonderfully with Italian dishes and especially those with some spice to them. I taste black licorice at the end. This wine reminds me of having one of those local wines from a small Italian vineyard that you can’t find in the U.S. …

Needs time to open up.... almost Pinot like. Feminine but rustic at the same time.

Comes across mainly with an under-ripe green note, harsh and sharp. Also kinda makes my mouth feel like I just ate pineapple (with those freaky enzymes). As others noted, not enough fruit, especially considering what I’m expecting from a Sicilian NdA. I now understand why this is on special for $12 in PA.

Good balance of acidity and fine tannins. More earthy than expected: too much moss and undergrowth for my taste. Not much fruit.
