Nice, easy

This is ageing very gracefully. Fruit still very fresh. Doesn’t taste 5 year old. Nice fragrance. Slatey refreshing edge and a little nutty roundness on the finish. It’s not cheap any more, £17, but it is a very nice wine . Drunk with boeuf bourgignon.

Spicy and peppery with crisp acidity and red berries. Surprisingly complex for the price.

Earthy, ok fruit, only had a few sips, would drink again.

Lots of dark smoky fruit but with great balancing acid and tannins. Does not have the complexity to take it to 4 stars but on price /quality it over delivers.

The blend changes every vintage but its predominately Shiraz. Dark cherry with some hard edges and then a touch of the smoke. It's tasty

This is a successful wine with an especially intriguing nose. The aromas include red and purple flowers, blueberries, damp soil, warm bricks, and mint. In the palate, it has a pleasant balsamic savoriness balanced with some dark fruit sweetness. The weight is rather light, making this a good food wine. Drink now.

Fresh, slightly carbonic. Fresh berry-like acidity; fine-grained, chalky, slightly drying tannins. Fresh, lively, fruity. Lovely, excellent entry-level wine. I actually think some of the other reviews are a bit harsh; it’s not the most complex wine in the world but it’s a very good entry level wine. It’s also rare for me to find a South African wine …

Cherry and strawberry and pepper nose. Slighthtly darker cherry at taste with increase in pepper and a porky meaty full body. With oak noted in middle and relatively long finish for me focused at front of mouth. Med dry, higher acid.

Thin, lacks complexity. Nothing offensive, but not something I would buy again.

The wine looks violet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is medium. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.
