This was really singing with a little air. Nose was amazing, exploding out of the glass. Had this juicy yet creamy thing going which was delicious.

The nose is just ridiculous and has the complexity of a really good burgundy. This is a little austere and tight with low tannins and medium acidity- hopefully with age the aromatic complexity will show up on the palate.

Came together after about an hour. More tart with a bit more acidity vs the 2020 Annabelle we had recently. Both delicious but this needs a little more time to round out some edges.

Despite the fact that I know better, I decided to pop a very young Ceritas, lol! Light, translucent red, leads to earthy cherry and reserved floral notes on the nose. Chalky fresh strawberry and cherry in the mouth, with delicate spice and faint wood notes. Flavors are long. Feels slightly bottle shocked, which is very possible. Still fun to drink and enjoyable but thinking the best is yet to come.
