This is simply lovely! Just the right amount of garrigue on the nose, along with a rich compote of dark fruit. Balanced and rewarding on the palate, with slightly grainy sweet tannins, a nice core of fruit along with savoury notes, the right dose of acidity and a surprisingly long finish. Really superb considering its humble appellation.

This has rounded off and is beginning to develop secondary gmey characteristics. Lots of dark fruit, some bacon, a fat mid-palate and fat tannins on the finish. Very nice now +5 years.
