Nose flinty gooseberry, mineral, apricot, lemon. Palate has enough acidity to keep fruit fresh, and a substantive mineral spine. Warm vintage, but has aged gracefully.

No formal note, this is lacking enough acidity to allow the fruit to feel balanced, it is slightly flabby but not enough out of step to be unenjoyable. More of an every day drinker that benefits with pairing with food.

Wow this is so good! Lovely texture, long finish. Nose is so clean and mineral, with a lovely restrained amount of apple, lemon, and passion fruit. It’s almost Burgundian but not quite. Must buy more.

Oaked. Mild petroleum taste. Medium body. Aroma of Honeysuckle and mild campfire smoke. Medium plus acidity. Medium finish.

Not as cutting as in years past. And maybe more noble rot?

Sweet aromas of flora (honeysuckle?) and honey, together with some tart green apple. Very lean, acidic, and mineral driven on the palate.

Pale straw in color; grass and citrus on the nose, apricot with some tartness and hints of honey on the palate. Smooth start finishing with some tanginess at the end.

Monday Night Blinds (Home (Noe st)) : (non-blind - my wine) Clear, bright, medium straw. Diminished aromatics - underripe pear, slight key lime pie (lees? can't be oak!). Slight graham cracker and cheese rind (lees). Has a slight gunflint smokiness (might be power of suggestion since the region has a reputation as smoky). Almost no impression of pyrazines (fresh-cut grass). Medium body, medium alcohol - 12.5% (actually 13%), high acid, slight bitterness. Less good quality. More malic character to the …
