A fabulous showing. Opens up after 30 minutes and keeps going. orange and white melons, almond skins, mandarin peels (on the nose), mandarin, sage. Beautiful heft and waxiness. orange and yellow flowers, maybe a bit of bell pepper, leather-bound books, parchment. ground cherries & their husks. Just wonderful

Some Chardonnay flavors but also strong Orange wine notes. Still more vital flavors than some of the other orange wines of his from this year. Need to retry soon.

Nice dense and concentrated with good minerality and acidity along with some slate and whetstone notes. A certain fatness to it. Ripe, round, concentrated. Not your typical chardonnay. enjoyable now but it should certainly improve with short-term aging. Could possibly be able to age long-term but I don't have experience with these kind of wines

Great showing. Very different showing for a chardonnay due to the extended skin contact. Nice salty mineral slate dry melon peach bouquet. Medium bodied. Good concentration. Nice fruit with good acids to give it lift and focus with delicious dry melon, dry peach flavors with minerals, hints of slate, stone. Long finish. The maceration with skins adds fatness and a thick mouthfeel. Drinks well now. I suspect it will develop further in the bottle. Well worth trying. If you like …
