PnP. Nose has a little bit Rhône funk which does not show up on the palate. The palate has a great array of cherry fruit mixed with spice and subtle tannins. Drinking ranges say drink up but I think this still has some time.

On PnP, this had an enticing aroma of red fruit and flowers but was harsh on the palate. With 90 minutes of air, it was red fruit and heavy spice with a little bit of funk.

On pop and pour, this was tight and off-putting. Need at least 90 minutes of air but may have been better at 3 hours. Red fruit with earth and some spice.

nice bottle, soft finish with a bit of thickness. not sure that age would help. small pours and opened nicely after 45 mins or so. 88 pts

Medium dark red. Need some decanter time. Nose pleasant and dark grenache slightly bitter finish. Sweet tones and relatively pleasant overall however nothing spectacular considering the hype surrounding this wine, and better wines at the $25 - $30 price point.

Had, but forgot to write detailed tasting notes. I remember thinking this was an interesting wine, nicely blended, pretty well balanced (somewhat young) and enjoyable. Recommended

The the 2008 l'Argile offers fresh blackberries and raspberries backed by cocoa powder, cured meat, lavender, mineral and some licorice notes. The soft velvety tannins flow effortlessly across your palate leading into the long chewy finish. L’Argile translates to “clay”, in reference to the soil type for this wine. The final blend consists of 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 5% Carignan and 5% Cinsault. (Best 2013-2020) 90-91 POINTS
