Day later from memory. After a previous corked bottle, this was a revelation. Everything about it was finely tuned, precise, and authentically great. Awash in flinty minerality and a pronounced salinity, if you closed your eyes you felt like you were swimming in a primordial jurassic soup, with trilobites or whatever floating by. But there was tightly knit citrus fruit, reined in by abundant acidity, leading to a palpable tension and dare I say, nervosity, whatever that might really mean. …

Corked City. Ah the perils of white burgundy. Between prem-ox and cork taint it's like a coin flip if you can even drink it. Such a shame.

Exceptional bottle. Excellent acidic balance...Wonder and distinctive nose...great buttery finish that lasts minutes...and plenty of fruit layers...

Selection Becky Wasserman Tasting (Tribeca Grill - New York, NY) : Tasting, brief note. Very good orchard fruit aromas. Similar flavors. Good length and power and heft, but perhaps not the classic acidity and minerality of Chablis Grand Cru.
