Has held up well. Rich, full nose of purple fruit and some moist earthiness. Palate follows similarly. Some tartness on the finish. Nice with pasta and ratatouille and then sipping over three days.

With Hangar Steak… Wasn’t expecting much looking at reviews. In a great place tannins resolved but lingering in background. Tons of blackberry(liqueur), pencil lead, refined earth, dark currant and slight glycerin. Worked well with Steak and on it’s own. Pleasantly surprised….have 1 more bottle.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (T&L's) : Double blind. Another that shows a good amount of heat. Dark fruit, prune and chocolate notes. Ripe and pruney. Guessed cab sauv.

Still has plenty of dark red fruit, but already seeming a bit flabby. Doesn’t seem to have the structure for lengthy aging. Probably would have been better a couple of years ago.

I had this wine before as a part of a tasting with friends. Bought another bottle and opened a year later. Very impressed both times. Not much to dislike. Everything in a right place. On second day I could not keep my hand off the bottle till all was gone. Just a great cab for a casual dinner. Will go for another 2-3 years for sure. Enjoy!

I found it tight and a little green. Not one of the better Neal's I have had and I love Neal. Was served blind and everyone else was very positive on it and thought it had life ahead of it. My palate may have been shot by this point in the tasting.

A rather dry Cab, with dark red purple fruit. Oak tones and some ware between medium to full-bodied red wine with a tannic structure. A respectable Napa Cab. 90+ points. Day 2 it shows better, still a solid 90+ points.

Much better this time around. Red/black cherry with subtle chocolate notes. Still firm tannins but have softened a bit.

Muted fruit right now, a tannic monster. Needs to sit.
